Yuck, pretty ugly slate this week. Outside of OUr game, I'm seeing blowouts across the board.

Not sure about these two:

BG at Buffalo, depends on which BG team get off the bus. The one that put up 31 consecutive unanswered points against Georgia Tech in what turned out to be a rout of a P5 team. Or, the one that got blasted by MOFO and OHIO.

MOFO at WMU, I think WMU could pull the upset at home. Their record is deceptive. They played some very good teams, and last week their offense showed signs of life against Mississippi State.

I think Buffalo takes care of business at home but I could see Western putting up a fight.

Miami has surprised me a bit, they really seem to be rolling right now and I think that continues. I knew their defense was solid but the offense has really clicked. I could see WMU getting up for their homecoming game but that Miami defense would need to have a serious let down game for this one to be close.

personally I see some other difficult games to call:

All games on ESPN+ unless otherwise noted:

OHIO at Northern Illinois, 4 pm ESPNU
Kent at EMU, noon CBSSN
Toledo at BSU, 2 pm
Akron at CMU, 3:30 pm
BG at Buffalo, 3:30 pm
MOFO at WMU, 3:30 pm

I expect our game to be a slog like most, but who knows. EMU should be fine at home, but they don't have much offense. Toledo should roll and I would guess CMU rebounds nicely at home, but even without Irons I don't think Akron is as bad as last week would indicate. perhaps they will adjust better to their new reality this week. BG and Buffalo are both teams impossible to figure out, plus I would take Miami over WMU, but I think WMU will be the best offense they've faced since UC. that's a dangerous game for them, just like it will be for us next week.
