Early season tournaments-2021

I see that ESPN announced on 5/20 the teams for 6 of their early season tournaments for this coming season. Ohio and the MAC are not represented among the 40 participating schools. There are 3 more tournaments yet to be announced., but I’m not sure how many teams will be involved there. I’m hoping we make one, but I’m not holding my breath. It seems to me that playing in those events would help the MAC’s image, particularly if a team wins a game or two. Any rumors about a possible landing spot for Ohio or any MAC team in the remaining tournaments?

Blogging the bracket does a pretty good job maintaining a running list of announced tourneys. No MAC teams listed though. Might end up being something like the Illinois MTE was last year that was added late.
