Excited to see how Hagan's last year at Ohio unfolds.

Ohio's DBs during the Solich era have been perhaps the unit with the best NFL potential between dudes like Dion Byrum (best game ever?, Pitt 2005), Mike Mitchell, Travis Carrie, Ian Wells, etc.

And some dudes who didnt make the nfl or for long but were very good like Todd Koenig, Bradd Ellis, Mayne Williams, etc...

Hagan has distinguished himself from the others and is poised for a breakout season.

When he first stepped on the the scene as a redshirt freshman, you could see that he had NFL-caliber physicality. Go back to the special teams in the late 3rd, early 4th quarter against Tennessee and watch him BLOW UP future NFL players like Alvin Kamara.

What was exciting about his game last year is they moved him all around: in the box as an extra LB, man coverage, zone, ...he did it all.

Over the last 4 months, I've rewatched most of the games from last year and where Hagan improved the most last year was in pass coverage. I dont think I've ever seen a dude anticipate as many passes in a season as he did last year-maybe not even close. Probably averaged 1 per game he might have been able to intercept. I think Javan could INT 7+ passes last year if he hits the JUGS (machine)
