He's tweeted 10 ties this year and 2 are from today, but he is the voice of "truth" - yea right - trying to gather in the message.  Interesting.

Truth meaning "official from Illinois" I doubt he will report anything until official. So basically his twitter is useless, unless to refute something.

Wouldn't be the first time something like this happened.  I really don't care what happened if it means Groce is in Athens for one more year.

If this really is the case Groce should tell them to eff off. He's already their 3rd choice, and he shouldnt stand for being jerked around like this. And it would be a real slap in the face to Ohio if he doesnt accept the illini job then goes and interviews for KState position. Thats TOS esque,

OU Airport web cam...not a good view of the "unloading" area.  I suppose we could watch the driveway for certain makes and models.  I think All-In showed Groce has a gray Toyota SUV...if gonna go all creepy on this thing...

Evan Turner tweeted:

"Coach Groce's offense is legit. Built for guards. The big ten is going to get even better in the future. Yessir"

Not helping, Evan. Not helping.

I've transitioned pretty quickly from awareness to acceptance on this whole matter:

Has Coach done great things for this program and the University: yes.

Were there people on this board that thought Coach was the wrong hire four years ago: yes.

Can we find another coach to do for this program what Coach did for ours, or continue the program's current trajectory: yes.

Do I expect Coach to do what is best for his family in the short and long term: yes.

Would I like to retain Coach for a few more years: yes.

If it means one and done, would I rather see the incremental spend for that year go to a long term benefit such as improving the facilities/infrastructure of the program as a whole, enticing new hires down the road to coach at OHIO and convincing new recruits this program is the right choice for them, as opposed to the spend going to Coach and his family's retirement fund: yes.

No offense intended to Coach, but I'm going to be selfish for OHIO at this point for the long haul.  And $600k can go a long ways to finishing the locker room project and making a downpayment on a practice facility.

Regardless of what Coach decides to do, I hope that everyone here remains as positive about increasing their commitment to ICA in whatever form or fashion they can, because the student athletes have earned that type of increased commitment from us.

FWIW, Ivo appears to know about as much as anybody on this board. Not feeling particularly good about Keely's "Damn!" and "It's been real OU!"

I don't think they have anything new to report.  Baltic just posted a news story on Groce and Illinois.

I love the webcams. THe day the guys had to take the yellow school bus to WV to get to Central Mich I was looking at the feild. The 2 downtown at Court Street and the Gate are entertaining at times also. Kids in the know do funny stuff like hold u[p signs saying HI MOM SEND MONEY

This is truly "the next level" too bad we lost the board ....would be pretty good to go back and look at the TOS laments

Baltic is linking to an old post that was already on here, it appears he doesn't know anything.

I don't like Keely's "It's been real OU" tweet a few minutes ago.

I just hate Twitter when it is used for cryptic personal messages - can we just stop. I refuse to follow these people.

Tupper is a good guy. One guy to follow is @johnsupinie John has covered Illinois for years. He'll get info almost before anyone else.

And Keely capitalized "I'M" as if to say others (Groce) are indeed going somewhere.  Deciphering cryptic tweets is fun.

Great tweet...Pretty sure will find Jimmy Hoffa before they find a new men's basketball coach.
