What happened to the rumor Carbone was retiring that was posted here before the server crash?

Hmmm. Wonder if it was the same person that said Solich would step down after the 2009 FB season to move to an administrative position at Nebraska? Because I remember who that was :)

The Carbone rumor was not me....The Solich comment was and you can look it up, I said there was internal discussion, not that there was a done deal.

I saw them practicing and #6 was on the field. Not like you need that for proof, because I'm sure plenty are in town more than me and the news would be out, but yea.

I don't know about rumors, but I had a dream awhile back that Mike Schmidt was hired as head baseball coach at Ohio and we went back to the CWS and won it this time. Final game was against USC. I'm not sure where this dream came from, as I haven't been thinking much about baseball recently. So what do you want to believe, some old, warmed-over rumors or my dream?

Excellent that Carbone is back. I'll put 15-31 and a lower half of the MAC finish in the record books already for 2010-2011 with him at the helm again.

God it just continues to be acceptance of mediocrity (aka business as usual) on Richland.
