Even the suggestion that osu is not the best at any particular thing will drive them crazy. In 2008, I almost got into a fight with a 12 year old and his drunken toothless hillbilly father just for cheering for OU. The 12 year old taps on the shoulder and says, "Well if OU is so good, how many national championships have you won?" "None, but we've never been embarrased by an SEC team in a national championship game either." Then the dad chips in, "There you go. No national championships." My reply: "Well, we've won multiple national championships in having fun. How many of those have you guys won?" Then Beokman fumbled in the endzone and they were quiet until 14 to go in the 4th. The U is perfect, because they have no answer. It confuses them. "Wait, they changed our chant! That's not right! Let's try it again and see if they do it again! OH MAN THEY DID!!!!" They can't help themselves, they have to say "OH-IO". They can't bring themselves to say "State" at the end, even though that's who they are. But we make them change. Because WE are OHIO. God, I was completely despondent after Saturday. I'm ready to go again now, though. Thank you for reminding me how much I love to hate those people, and how my goal isn't necessarily to win this game, but to just make them shut up for a while. About anything. Also, we need to take away the middle of the field on Pryor's passes. Make him throw short and out. IMO, Julian Posey has been the best looking player on our team. Make Pryor throw the out route, and he will get a pick 6. And if this happens in the first quarter, we will get our desired silence from the red crowd.
