The way James Gollon looked back at his foot as he stumbled makes me think Achilles injury.

I'm thinking the same thing. Hope it's nothing more than a strain.

He was on crutches and in a walking boot in the second half. Doesn't look good.

Block also came up limping toward the end of the game but that seemed to be only a cramp.

I feel bad for Gollon, he just got back, wow.
The cats had good spacing at times and crisp passing,. If we improve our transition defense and foul shooting we can be good.

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

My goodness Gollan is one guy that can hit shots and he is done for the year. This team is cursed. Gollan looked like a really good player when healthy. He was instant offense for a team that really needed that. Next man up as they say.

Yah, we beat the worst team in the MAC by 5 points. I think it's clear we are in the bottom quarter of the MAC. Especially without Gollon and Dartis.

I have never seen a Bobcat team worse on offense. It's a shame too because our defensive efficiency is 63rd in the nation right now (which puts us in between LSU and Davidson)(3rd in the MAC). But our offensive efficiency is 311th (which puts us right in between Portland and South Carolina State). By far the worst in the MAC.

We won and are 10-8. To quote one of my favorite singers, Francis Albert Sinatra “ send in the clowns. There ought to be clowns. Don’t bother, they’re here.”

Heard that too, as I was driving home from the game. Very sad, indeed. Without his spark and his three-point shooting tonight, we likely don't end up on the winning side of the ledger. The injuries our team has had during the Saul Era have just been unreal.

A torn achilles is a tough injury to deal with and come back from.

I have 2 friends who tore achilles.

One tried to let it heal by "immobilization".
Didn't work out well and he ended up having to get it surgically repaired.

My second friend need to have 2 surgeries.

He was told that, based on the nature of the tendon, including blood supply,it doesn't always "knit".

I think it's pretty clear that you want nothing but rosy and positive posts on BA when it comes to Ohio sports teams and athletes. Just wondering, however, what's been put out there in this thread that is clown-like?
