Virginia seems like it would make an awesome trip. As of now I don't think I can make it work.

I am definitely in for Cincy. Plus a very large group.

I've seen crazier things happen.

The website says additional performances to be determined, so there's always a chance. UVA didn't have a marching band until 2004, so the visitors brought their band or occasionally other bands would fill in. The 110 performed at the Ohio-UVA game in the early '90s that I went to. And as I recall, they performed at another UVA game in the late '90s, early aughts when the football team had a week off.



FWIW DEPT: UVA did have the Pep Band that was a "scramble" band (Standford and Rice) from about 1974 to 2003. The Pep Band did humorous and scathing skits at halftime, before they were banned in 2003. Ask any WVU fan about their humor. UVA officials and football coaches had to issue numerous apologies to many schools which lead to the band being finally banned by the football progam. They were really funny like the old original Saturday Night Live TV show. I never left my seat when they performed, and I am not a fan of school bands.

Should be at the UC game +1.

UVA is a gorgeous campus, my dad and I went there a few years ago when Oregon played in Charlottesville. Awesome to watch that Ducks team go to work, Mariota, DeAnthony Thomas etc
