There's also the question, of course, of why Trump blatantly lied about this, why Sarah Huckabee Sanders blatantly lied about this, and why they're disclosing this now. It's obviously to provide cover to Cohen. And if this was perfectly legal, why the months of lies?

You know that you can't flip on an innocent person, right? That they'd disclose this or of fear of what Cohen will disclose is telling.

Side note: it's a disgrace that they use Hannity as the medium, given his conflicts of interest as one of Cohen's three clients. What a shameless group.

You're entitled to your opinion that a law was broken.

I'm not a lawyer,or an expert on campaign finance law,so I wouldn't presume to make that assumption.

I do know that the two lawyers I referenced in my original post feel that,based on available information,the "reimbursement",apparently that's a key word,was legal.

I listened to Mr. Giuliani's comments concerning the reimbursement(s).
He said that Mr.Cohen was reimbursed for "expenses" and that President Trump did not know the "expenses" included money for Ms.Daniels.

You can argue the veracity of this statement.
But it is consistent with what the President has said.
