Explain to me how Brown should have gone in the third round.

I said could not should.

That's nonsense to me. The NFL misses on guys, sure. But they put a helluva lot of research into drafting. Brown went where he should have gone as certainly as the person who gets the most votes (direct or electoral) wins an election or the team with the most points wins a football game.

Sometimes...no MACC for 12 years in a 12/13 team league...facts are facts.

Mike Mayock and Mel Kiper Jr, two notorious scouts had him rated at 99 and 105 respectively. He was rated the second best tackler in the draft. You are going to have a heck of a pity party for yourself today. I am with you when you say you want to win the MAC and that winning the MAC should be a priority, I am not with you in hoping that these young men don't get drafted or hoping that great kids come here, that is somewhat troubling my brother. I wish four or five more could get drafted. It is great to see people's dreams come true. Even if you have to wait for your own dreams to come true, that does not mean that you should rain on their parade. These young men came here and worked hard and they made it to the league.

No need to resend. Your memory is correct that is what I said, which was a dam site closer to reality than what you said, dear sir. You said he didn't pass your sight test, and he was in no way NFL material. He didn't have the body for it.

What I think is interesting is how Basham was talked about as a 3rd rounder as early as his freshman year. A guy who was lightly recruited but Frank was able to find somehow. It says a lot about the staff's ability to identify talent.

Hopefully, they have identified some qb talent.

I suppose...in the same way that one day even the most stalwart SFB could some day acknowledge that I'm 100% correct about Solich and the MACC.

Oh, I'm sure they have.

Just can't bring it to Athens. Or keep it from leaving.

Record Bobcat draft with 2 guys taken in the first 5 rounds. I hope Casey Sayles slips in as 6th or 7th rounder. That would be the cherry on top to have 3 guys drafted on defense.

I'll go first:

Tarell Basham will be pick #80 (15th pick of the 3rd round) which right now is Indianapolis

Blair Brown will be pick #140 (tail-end of the 4th round) which right now is the New York Giants

Casey Sayles and Sebastian Smith sign UFA contracts and stick on with teams through training camp.

Certainly some amazingly accurate predictions. Congratulations, and move over Mel Kiper.
