We may have a great one coming in.

And who might that be???

A QB who could be the MAC player of the year, a very talented guy that we will be blessed to have.

Will this player, we will be blessed to have, feel blessed with the opportunity at Ohio? Seems a transfer excited about a transfer would be up on the net already interacting with new teammates.

I don't know if he has finalized his decision but he will probably be excited to lead us. I can't tell you the intentions of a mans heart. I know he is good and I know he will enjoy his time at Ohio. He will be exciting to watch and he is a good student.

I would think that our Michigan transfer will be on the two deep at LB. Oulette waaaay over Brown. Rourke at QB. I am going to miss Belack as a WR and as a gunner on special teams. Kid was something special. Too bad he ruined his career at OU with a dumb mistake.

Agree with Belack. Sad.

I would put the Meecihigan transfer at H-back.

Top ranked fullback in the country coming out of high school.

Check out his hudl vid.

I'm not going to lose sleep over mystery players. If one decides to show up, he'll still have to earn playing time, and missing Spring camp will make that more difficult.

yes true, this guy is a baller as the coaches stated. Iwish he would have came here in the spring.

If a transfer QB shows up, someone currently on scholarship is going to have to go bye-bye. Per Ted's recruiting chart, we're already at 85. (And I thought Brad Ellis earned a scholarship at the end of last season, but he isn't listed. So we might need 2 players to go bye-bye.)

That might not be a stretch, as we'll probably have one of the signees not show in the fall (it always happens). And we always seem to lose someone due to injury (I'm thinking it will be an O lineman this year). Plus Mr. Irons' legal situation may knock him out (although I'd rather bring in a transfer RB if that happens...we are suddenly thin at RB if we lose Irons plus another RB to injury).

the coaches havre it figured out, this guy is a real difference maker. If he shows up in his usual form, we are going to see great things. This guy is not the typical grad trans, he played and played at a high level. Our QB if they can't beat him, they will be blessed to learn from him.

Ohio is blessed with a roster of players who have chosen Ohio. Still not sure about being blessed to have a player who at this point would still rather be somewhere else.

Any young man in his situation has to weigh his options, he likes Ohio and one other school. He could have chosen bigger schools already. We have a fullback coming in the fall and he has been labelled a potential locker room leader, What is the problem here? Let the kid do his due dilligence. He is smart, Ohio is an excellent place to come. He can fine tune his game. Albin can open the play book. Lets just wait and not be pessimistic.

Sure, and I would expect your QB transfer to be a locker room leader too. Big difference between a projected locker room leader not projected on the two deep and the next "MAC MVP." How about we just wait and not proclaim the second coming.

Keep in mind that Ohio doesn't release an official list of who is on scholarship and who isn't. Ted's list is an educated and mostly accurate guess, but not guaranteed to be 100% accurate. Often the status of former walkons and grayshirts is difficult to know for sure. For example, if they get a scholarship, is it permanent, or just a one year grant because one wasn't being used at the time?

You gave one example of a question mark (Ellis), so here is a list of some questions:
1. Is Brad Ellis on scholarship?
2. Is the 5th year guy from Michigan, Shallman, on scholarship? Ted guesses yes, and he most likely is correct, but not all 5th year players are on scholarship.
3. Is Jeff Christian on scholarship? Ted guesses no, and I question that, but have no way of knowing for sure.
4. Are Zervos and Farakas on scholarship? Ted guesses yes, and I would think that is correct, but it's never been announced.
5. Cunningham was announced as getting a scholarship. Was it a one year deal, since one was available? Or is he still on scholarship?
6. Sean Beadle is not currently listed on the roster. Is he still on the team? If not, should he still counted as an athletic scholarship?
7. Seymour and the Leuhrman twins were listed as grayshirts the same year. Ted guesses that Seymour is on scholarship, but that the twins are not.

So, you see why it's difficult to know just exactly how many are on scholarship at any point in time? At this time my list, like Ted's, adds to 85, but it's a different 85. I would subtract Beadle, and add Christian, but it's still just a guess.

If he's "great" then why is he leaving another school to go elsewhere??? That tells me he's not even the best at his position where he is now. I'm betting he's also looking to drop from a P5 school to a G5 school to play.

This is so pessimistic and sick. The guy can flat out play, you shouldn't take out how you fell about your life on him. The guy has never thrown an interception and has completed over 60% of his passes and is a significant threat with his legs. He started at a P5 school and going to a G5 school does not matter. I know some people have fell in love with Maxwell and mediocrity. When the coaches said baller alert, they were not lying. The coaches knew what they were talking about. Go Cats

Yeah, it's so pessimistic and sick to think such a thing, what the hell was I thinking??? I mean, you only see it happen numerous times every year across the country. That's so awful of me to suggest. SMH. Further, I don't even know who the hell you're talking about, so how can I take anything out on him??? You're the one coming on here claiming to know who might be transferring here, but you can't even give a name as if it's some kind of national secret, which leads me to believe you have no idea what you're talking about. And just when I think about giving you the benefit of the doubt, I'm reminded that you're also the same guy who suggested the ridiculous idea about how Ohio sends guys to JUCO's (where you got roasted) and you posts random quotes on here like they're going out of style. So yeah, forgive me for having a hard time finding you a credible source of info.

ohio sent Kadre Pinder, Najee Mckenzie and the Leftwich twins to Fort Scott, the coaches said baller alert, dont trust me trust them. The kid can play, he is better than your idol, whom you said is too good for us. People then began to inx me and say that you cleaned his room every weekend. Don't sell yourself short.
