We live in a subjective society where opinion reigns supreme. People will disagree on literally about anything (especially when politics is involved). Think of a topic...literally any topic...and you will find competing articles, research studies, etc. available to review. Number two, you are swallowing the media spin hook, line and sinker. He never asserted that the in-person crowd was the biggest ever. Just that the audience (TV, in-person, streaming, etc) was the largest. Seeing as how there is more proliferation of electronic devices today than ever - it's plausible. Can it be proven? Of course not. But honestly, who cares except a bunch of whiny far-left types that want to "fact check" themselves into obscurity. Mark my words...if the media and left-wing politicians continue down the current path of whining about everything, 2018 will be a landslide of epic proportion for the Republicans.
