There has been no announcement. Frankly, I was shocked he wasn't fired after last year. But he is a lame duck since his contract expires after this season. They will only have one scholarship available (and I'm not even sure they have that one since the senior in question only played in something like 5 games last year) but recruiting is always challenging for a coach who doesn't have a contract for next year. Cooper is going to have to have a super season to earn an extension and I just don't see that happening with the team they have assembled.

OK, I understand what you are saying. He's for all intents and purposes a lame duck, but not officially a lame duck.

Looking at the Georgia Tech Forums... Looks like Heath (Starting PG) will be out for the first 4 games for violating team rules... Looks like we are their 3rd game (Non-exhibition) on their schedule so, our path is looking clearer for a nice OC road win... Nice from a big name standpoint anyways.

Edit: Changed from 2nd to 3rd game.

Trying to get my sis and her husband to the pre game. Not sure if she will give up a chance to see her nephew to rub elbows with Bobcats in the area to join the festivities. ANyone who has current info on pre game let me know so I can pass it on.
