Welcome Ouellette family member and/or Covington Ohio resident.

Sorry bud...I live in Columbus...where the real Ohio State football team plays.

How many other ohio states are there?

Oh that's right I forgot...a lot of soon to be teachers go to OU as well as a lot of alumni being teachers and such. I'll try and step it up on the proper sentence structuring/phrasing...since that's what a football forum is all about. Since it is a football forum, I thought you might get the gist of it and poke a little at you OU fans at the same time. Sorry it was lost on you.

For your ease of mind I will stop posting as I really only enjoy reading some of the comments on this forum anyhow. I have become a fan (2nd favorite college football team now, of course) of Ohio University, but just don't get the constant complaining from some of your alumni fans about your coaches and their choice of play calling and players. Seems to me that at 4-1 they are doing a pretty good job.

No, woody doesn't need to quit posting. Woody, just don't be a dick and act like a typical douche bucknut who thinks he's lowering himself to post here. Otherwise, we're glad for your support. Most of the people here are pretty happy with 4-1, even if they think we should be 5-0. Everyone here is a big fan of AJ as well. I think people are rightfully concerned about our offensive production and are looking for solutions that will help us when we're playing teams that are not as offensively challenged as Akron. So if you want to contribute to the discussion, that would be great. Just don't say dick things.

I agree with DFC, HaHa's statement that he lives in Columbus where the real Ohio State is located is offensive. What he is saying is that we are not the real OHIO. Note that he exclusively calls us "OU." Okay per se, but in the context of his post it's clear his intent. If he gets off his high horse, he's welcome here. Otherwise, I would prefer if he resumed his lurker status.

He does live where Ohio State is located. He does not live where the real OHIO is located.

Note he put in the word "real" before he said Ohio State (mistyped as plural, which I'm overlooking in the interests of good sportsmanship). That was a put-down that I don't really appreciate. Also, his screen name of "Woodyhaha" is a strange one for someone posting on an OHIO board. I actually knew Woody and I know his son Steve, who was the best man in a wedding in which I was an usher. Steve has even, in my presence, called us "OHIO" a few times. Woodyhaha can't seem to bring himself to do that, enamored as he is with the real Ohio State. Ever heard the statement about being more royalist than the king?

Maleek's tweets today? I can't argue with a word he says:

"Muck Fiami"
"Our defense is beautiful".

This source also mentioned that he is confounded by the fact that we only use 2 backs and that coaches dont trust Brown "in the doghouse" or seem inclined to use better the physically bettor gifted RBs. Now this us from someone there everyday and on the sidelines involved. It also reminds me as I posted before College Coaches dont always play the best players. Aj/Daz combine for maybe 150 yds Coaches seem ok bc they havent turned it over. He mentioned he really hopes kids dont transfer due to this mindset and Irons/Brown gets some opportunities this season. Interesting water cooler talk if you ask me.

WOW, this kid has skills, he made no mistakes, he ran well and caught well. He showed the coaches that he deserves more time.
We now have 5 great RB's. I doubt there is another MAC program with as strong a backfield as Ohio.

Coaches have been saying such for two years. Last season the OL was just too green.

Wait-so you're saying that you think what the coaches say is correct.

This is quite surprising.

And after a 34-3 Homecoming win over Miami, the best win vs Miami in the series history, with the team at 5-1, with the defense playing extremely well, with a QB playing very well, you are all about your current crisis. As the RB roles get established it will be interesting to see what your next crisis will be.
