Can I get some extra bean !!

I think bean will play much better used in the 2 with ryan and khari, setty sharing the point responsibilities .. the other seniors look very poor or late,

Mo seems to be less energized and can't seem to keep the handle on the ball, fouling often on defense ..

Stevie seems to be completely off, or maybe had been overachieving the past few years. Airballing and missing 3's badly ..

BANG !! .... however i think the future is bright in bobcat nation !!

+1 ... seems this poster takes cheap shots at Bean quite a bit. I can't even imagine posting such a comment about any student athlete.

his comments weren't valid criticism, he was just being a d!ck to be one. Bean didn't have a great shooting night but he was much better than usual at distributing the ball and involving his teammates. So accusing Bean of being selfish tonight isn't a valid criticism and therefore is an opinion I will not respect and show deference to. Its nothing more than trolling for the sake of trolling and it adds nothing to the conversation. I am all for offering criticism, even when it is harsh, but it should be valid, this isn't.

Wow , he's not even a year younger than Tommy....and Tommy is worrying about life, marriage and babies along with when to come home and break into coaching. I keep kidding him about having old eggs. Did not realize he was about the same age.

Does Tommy have the marriage and the babies, or is he worrying because he doesn't?

Shoo, he should be happy he's not weighed down.

I would agree with this. I'm one of Bean's biggest critics but he played well on Monday. He just didn't shoot well. He appeared to tire on defense late in the game but so did everyone else. This reminded me of his play the last ten games or so of last year.

The reason he doesn't shoot well is bc he takes terrible shots! Fast break 3 pointers from 6 feet behind the arc with no time off the shot clock is not the kind of shot this team needs.

Yeah, terrible' shots. Is that why he shot over 40% from 3? Not to mention led us in assists. Nick Kellogg shot 39% last year and I don't recall anyone ripping on him. Not saying as players they are totally comparable .. but as far as percentage from 3-land the numbers speak for themselves.

I posted an earlier look at his stats...When he's hot, it makes up for the several bad games he's had...The 10-15 from 3 help balance out the 1-9 performance...He was so streaky it was frustrating. Terrible shot selection.

Huge difference between Nick shooting 39% within the context of the offense and Bean shooting 39% (he didn't shoot 40%) with no offensive plan. It's no coincidence that we shot 46% from the field last year vs 43% this year and went from 1st in assists last year to 9th this year. Add to that going from 699 free throws attempted last year down to a league low 486 this year. The shots Bean takes you can get off at any point in a possession. Why not see if you can get a better shot first?

Van...BINGO! Somebody talked about 6 passes minimum in January and I said a bit about passing somewhere else. All year long and in most possessions, this team looked for the easy shot that could be had at any time in the clock. They really never ran any semblance of offense. It was all transition or 1v1 except for about two games.

Per link it showed Bean at 40.4% from 3.

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/teams/oab/stats/

And my reply was relative to the 2 (boydhall and danny's knee) who have continually taken cheap shots at Bean all year. For one to say 'good riddance bean willis' shows a complete lack of class and the other to say his shot selection is 'terrible' also speaks volumes when the numbers say he shoots a good percentage.
