My mother has not gone to some restaurants because they don't serve Coke. But seriously, anyone who prefers Internet Explorer needs help.

He didn't say he prefers IE, just that he didn't care. That's different.

I didn't say he said that. But those people exist and we need to find them and help them.

Well, I mean... she likes Coke. In a way, it's not really that different from going to an Italian place instead of a Mexican place.

More on that Chili experience.
I was in Milford (western Cincy suburb). It was 2:00 PM. I had not eaten all day. I had on a brand new white shirt and an appointment on the west side of Akron at 5:30. I need to keep the shirt clean.
So..
I get the Chili and Mac combo. Extra napkins. To my surprise the meal is kind of soupy but I get a plastic fork with it (used drive thru) instead of a spoon. I know Wendy's will give you a spoon for chili. Plus I got a cup of stringy cheese and two packs of oyster crackers.
Maybe this Cincinnati chili experience is best as a dine-in meal.
The whole concept of chili to go has to be simplified. I am from Youngstown and we would never try to make spaghetti a fast food drive thru meal.

Milford is on the east side, but your point is valid. Cincinnati chili is a mess and should not be eaten on the go. Although they do have the "walking 3/4/5 ways" at sporting events and the Zoo, it's best to eat this while sitting down with plenty of plate space and napkins for wiping. Skyline even offers a bib to eat it when you have it in the restaurant.

BTW, the cheese they put on Skyline chili is something that God invented. I don't know what it is, but that cheese, grease and steamy lathered in the restaurant, somehow became the great shredded cheese ever. If you buy it in a package in the grocery store...it's just plain ole cheese. Get it in the restaurant...miracles happen.

There's no explanation, but I've got to have Mountain Dew with my Skyline.

And Price Hill Chili is a pretty damn good local place too. My go to breakfast there is a chili and cheese omelette, side of goetta, cheese coney mustard no onion and coffee.

Everyone has their signature drink at Skyline, Pete. I know plenty of people who have to have their Mt. Dew. I have to have Dr. Pepper.

I'm the same way with Tudor's Biscuit World biscuits. No coffee, no OJ, no anything, except Mt. Dew. That's about the only time I drink Mt. Dew, too.

This may have nothing to do with nothing, but as a person who frequents a lot of different sporting events at Ohio, I see the basketball players at a lot of different games. Usually volleyball and women's hoops, sometimes football. I see the guys hanging out at these games a lot together. They aren't always ALL there together, but a group of them. What's my point? I see all of them together from time to time, minus one guy who I never see at these games with the rest of the players. That one guy that I never see, is Bean Willis. Like I said, maybe it's nothing to do with nothing, but when you see literally every other player hanging out in the Convo at other events, it makes me wonder.

Do you think Bean Willis likes chili? If he does, you think he prefers Texas style chili? Or maybe he's more into gumbo?

He doesn't strike me as a gumbo kind of guy.

Is it presumptive to assume that just because a guy is from Louisiana, he likes gumbo?

Skyline was never intended to be a "drive through meal" in the same way that a Chipotle burrito bowl isn't a drive through meal. I'm calling user error in this example.

It's been pointed out already, but Milford is on the east side. Minor mistake.

Your bigger mistake was ordering the Chili and Mac. I'm pretty sure that's only on the menu as an option for little kids. I would recommend you get a coney or 3-way for the full experience. And if you get it to-go make sure to ask for the cheese on the side or else it gets soggy. It is a meal best enjoyed in the restaurant.

People think it's healthy because it says "Diet." It tastes like distilled Sweet'n'Low.

The Milford Skyline (on Main St.) is pretty much the ONLY Skyline I will eat at.

It wasn't actually thread drift. Just look at the title of the thread. The original author was just kind of "drifty" in his head. So, you might call this "mind drift" rather than "thread drift"! ;-)
