I see him appearing with Russ on some media accounts and wonder if there will be anything official for him in reporting this coming season?
He is a classic team beat writer (plus probably more). Has the best sources, keeps his cool and is dispassionate win or lose. Fair to players and coaches but tells all sides of a story. When reading him you feel like he is a friend that you may disagree with but you can always trust him to not mislead.
That being said he always has impressed me with his knowledge of the game (hoops or football) and he adds to my understanding of our team , and its straights and weaknesses.
I hope he gets to continue somewhere telling us stories about our beloved Bobcats.

PS: I had a Messenger subscription and will subscribe to wherever he is working in the future.

I did not subscribe to the Messenger, but I would if he came back. Not having a beat writer really sucks. I know there aren't any games going on, but no one at The Post seems to be picking up the slack with filler content.
