Figured we can keep track of what players do today. I know Mike Mitchell is playing and so is Carrie. Maybe Zastudil and a couple more.

Travis Carrie finished with 4 tackles in a 14-19 loss, Mike Mitchell finishes with 7 in a 30-27 win for the Steelers.

Chris Collinsworth made an interesting observation about Carolina's management philosophy during the Steelers-Panthers game last night. Apparently Carolina believes that pass rush is the key to pass defense so they spend their money on linemen then basically look for castoffs to fill their secondary. Probably one reason why Mitchell spent so little time there.

On another note, LaVon's numbers in Toronto so far: 11 catches for 147 yds and a TD; 8 kick returns with a 20-yd average; 4 punt returns with an 11.5 average.

And Eric Herman was waived by the Giants Friday.

From Sunday's games:

Mitchell -- six tackles, five solo

Carrie -- five tackles, all solo; one PD; one INT (28 yd return); one punt return (17 yds)
