2014 Roster Changes

Note - player missing may not be gone from the program, but instead may be planning to rejoin the team when the roster expands to 120, or their names may be missing for some other reason, like Irons, who arrived late.

Missing names:
Dylan Leffinwell - QB
Jerry Williams - OG/DT
Maleek Irons - Obviously he's here, but his name is not on the roster yet
Brandon Payne - RB
Jake Johnson - WR
Max Corcoran - WR
Shawn Harris - CB

New Additions:
Aaron Bradley - WR from Nevada, has been previously mentioned on here
Cameron Gunnels - CB - Previously mentioned on recruiting forum
Austin Pauley - OL - Previously mentioned on recruiting forum
Tony Stephens - DL Previously mentioned on recruiting forum
Oliver Grimard - WR previously mentioned on here

Well it's obvious Maleek Irons is here.....about the first individual on a Cat interview this year ....a true Freshman.... When was the last time that happened ?

Arkley mentions another addition, one that also isn't on the roster, WR Tim Helton. He is 6'2", 190, and last year walked on at Cincinnati, so he'd have to sit out this year, and will have 3 to play 3. He is from Notre-Dame-Cathedral Latin in Chardon, Ohio.

Bradley actually came from Nevada, not UNLV. That would be like saying he transferred to Miami-Ohio instead of Ohio. ;)

Bubba Williams and Chad Moore (per Arkley tweet) have moved from walk-ons to scholarships the last couple of day per the Twitterverse.

Yeah, Dylan's dad was a principal when I was in HS at Warren Local; good dude. Knew something was up at start of summer when his grandfather took down the Ohio flag that had been hanging at his house for past year or so. Good kid and family; am sure it will work out for him up there.

New addition to the team, per Arkley in the Messanger:
Mark Johnson -QB
He's a walkon QB, son of offensive line coach Dave Johnson. He was on the U.Mass roster, and was listed at 6'2", 190.

He played in Morgantown, Class of 2013, so he should be a Redshirt Freshman this year, but would have to sit out. Here's his HUDL:

He will be taking over at the scout team QB, freeing up Duckworth to work on the Ohio playbook.
