What fired me up more than what Frank said was the way he said it. He looked really pleased with the effort of this team.  Taken together, all the quotes from before and after the Spring game, the coaches seem to really like this team, and it's attitude. They may be young, but they may surprise us, especially the defense.

I have a feeling that where we stand in November is going to depend more on the rest of the conference than us. This team has me thinking we will  win at least 2 games we probably shouldn't, and will lose at least 2 games we probably shouldn't.

I'm ready for the roller coaster.....pass the green Kool-Aid first though.

agreed. I'm thinking 7-5. I'm afraid with our weak OOC schedule we may start 3-1 4-0 and then get hammered in the MAC again and people are going to say we collapsed when in reality the competition just got better.

Is there something wrong with my ears?  Did I hear Frank say that there would be "called runs" for the QBs this year?  Perhaps, by mistake I was on the wrong board and listening to the NIU coach talk about his QBs.  I wonder whether the OHIO QB will call his own number on option plays.  No, that would be too radical a concept!
