I'm not sure that the staff "chased down Wadley". I was of the understanding that his teammates convinced him to stay. So it sounds like I'm not the only one who thought that. I'm also of the understanding that he is red shirting this year, and will likely transfer next year so that he has one year of eligibility and can play right away, while still getting his degree from Ohio. The difference is, when he played, Wadley was a contributor. His health was the issue. I think the same logic applies to Harley in my opinion. I think he'd be a capable player if he could get his back right. That said, I'd hope that this is something that gets sorted out soon. Either he can play and gets the back problem solved, or we need to find a way to get use out of the scholarship. DJ Wingfield, unless I'm mistaken, was able to stay at Ohio under scholarship when it was determined his health wouldn't allow him to play. Perhaps Khari can do a similar thing if he can't get his back healed? He was under control, had a solid jumper and seemed like a nice, solid kid. I would take him in a heartbeat and he could be a backup 1, 2 or 3 in a small lineup. If we had him we could go Jaaron, Darty, Laster, Toles and Carter and run people off the floor.
