Stonybrook offered him, we may also be recruiting him. https://247sports.com/Player/Abba-Lawal-46055426 /

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

6'11" 180lbs. That physically makes him sound like Nate Springs 2.0.

Both of his names are palindromes. That's pretty cool. Doesn't say anything about him as a basketball player, though.

I agree. That's kind of neat!

With Coach Thornton's connections it might not be so bad that he's at Hargrave for a year.

I think he was always available. I don't know if he got what he was looking for out of Hargrave as his offer list is still small.

Coincidentally, I watched his Hargrave film yesterday and aside from rim protection, I still see a degree of project.

We do not need a project if we have just one scholly left. With BVP and Preston we need an impact player NOW!

Somebody ask Tommy Freeman, he coached him. He looks better than Foster to me.

Well, we can finally put this one to bed about why he should be recruited to OU, because golly, if a kid is accepting offers to Alabama A&M, he's basically D2, right? ;)

I think that are division 1, Garreri is tearing it up at the D2 level.

Alabama A&M plays in the SWAC, so D1

I looked at their Athletic Dept. page and they have a release with 3 signees for next year, and Abba Lawal is not one of them.

I knew they were. I was giving allen a hard time. We have a propensity around here to sometimes think the SWAC is so inferior that its about that bad.

Well it’s safe to say the SWAC will never be confused with the MAC. We are the ACC compared to that conference.
