Those are not forbidden here, as they are on many other similar boards, which is probably a good thing, but talking about Bobcat athletics should be the focus. As for discussions here, I think Ohio University is a unique community that includes a unique cross section of people. The conversations here are interesting precisely because of that and the socio-political conversations are most interesting. I've learned a lot here from these conversations and though other people aggravate me as much as I aggravate them, there's no hard feelings. Were I ever in Knoxville, for instance, I'd happily by Robert Fox a beer. I don't know where you live, but same offer stands. And Billy? Well, he can come to a Rugby party at my place any time. It's good to hear different perspectives and interact with people with different opinions. Too much of our society is now purely about people trying to shut down people who disagree with them. One your last point, I'm in complete agreement, as I'm the closest thing you'll find on this board to a First Amendment absolutist. Here I'm talking about society in general; the First Amendment does not really apply to us when we post on this board, only to the owners of the board. We are, in essence, using their First Amendment space here, not our own.
