This included a 2 year assignment with the Foreign Technology Division (now the National Aerospace Intelligence Center), which was the organization charged with collecting and analyzing UFO reports from around the world, and evaluating any technology implications. During those 8 years at Wright-Patt, I don't recall ever hearing rumors or discussions of alien bodies or spacecraft being held there, and the classified reports that I saw (Project Blue Book) have long been declassified, I believe, and contained no reports of such. This is not to say that super-classified objects could not have been held there, but the physical security measures to protect such objects and information would have been visible and obvious, and would have been noticed on a base where security is part of the culture. In fact, I never heard these stories at all until after I read the science fiction novel, Hangar 18, in later years.
