You know, that one really sticks in my craw. I can't blame someone like Yaya Felder for leaving last year. From day one, she was clearly a better player than the MAC level. She belonged up there. But Fantroy? We took our lumps with her out there and developed her over the course of the season. She finally begins to put it together and then bails. That's reality, but it's just not right.

I hope we can replace her with a guard like Lyzi Litwinko from NJIT. We have plenty of youth and need some experience. She can provide some defense and rebounding from the guard position and can be an experienced passer.

I don't know if the stats back it up, but in the limited games I saw in person, Fantroy was one of the better defenders and rebounders on the team. She sort of created a lot of chaos, disrupting a lot on the defensive end. It led to a lot of layups and easy buckets. She wasn't a very good shooter, but did a lot of good things when she was on the floor.
