It is a product of our laws. I wonder if the same is true overseas. Franchises and amateur sports have responded with vagaries of dealing with news of injuries in a curious way. Is there even a reporter covering the team to ask about Preston's injury and return? It's the program's right not to provide injury information, but normally when the best player on the team is injured, a member of the media would ask the coach about it and report what he says - and/or ask to interview the player who can choose whether to be interviewed and disclose any injury information. GO BOBCATS I had always heard that hockey teams were vague so other teams and players did not know which body part to attack when the player got back. Most likely if the coach doesn’t want it, the player will keep quiet.
