Go to Best Buy Buy Roku for $50.00 - pay $5.00 a month

10 to 25 college BB games on 5 or 6 nites a week
Same with college FB 2 or 3 nites week

The regular $29 roku stick works great if you have ESPN plus... you can have all your ESPN's in one app...ESPN, ESPN3, ESPN+ ...then you can use the search box to type in the name of the school or if the game is starting, just go to live events and scroll until you see it.

Most of the games are archived on ESPN+ so if you want to see a different MAC team's recent game in your spare time or re-live the enjoyment of an earlier season Bobcats win, they are still on there.

I watched the second half of NCAA D-1 newcomer North Alabama get what was a huge win for them at Lipscomb. Without ESPN+ the game was not on anywhere else. I pull for those UNA Lions, long story, but even if you didn't have a connection to the school, it was cool to see an underdog upstart program go on a 30-9 run to finish the game and get what is a signature win for them.

This would be a cool thread. I bet many of us have a team or two out there that we pull for where the story behind our "affiliation" with the school/team is rather unique. I'd love to hear your story Greencat.

I believe Eastern and BG were the first home games we've had on ESPN+ since winter break, so not sure if that's what your issue was. I think you mentioned having ESPN+ as well?

As far as finding them, I usually just go to the area that shows all the sports they offer and choose Men's NCAA Basketball. From there I think they break it down by conference, choose the MAC. Or scroll through the "Live and Upcoming" events.

Just to be clear, because some of this has changed over the years.
- You must subscribe to ESPN+ in order to watch games that are on ESPN+. It costs $5/month.
- ESPN3 is available based on your cable or satellite subscription. If you get ESPN, then you have access to ESPN3.
- The ESPN app and Watch ESPN website may list all types of games, many of which not all people can watch. You must subscribe to the ESPN network that the game is being shown on in order to watch. So if you don't get ESPNU in your cable package, you can't watch an ESPNU game on the app. If you don't subscribe to ESPN+, you can't watch an ESPN+ game.

I wish all of the MAC games were ESPN+ because I don't have a cable subscription and therefore can't watch games on ESPN3. But for $5/month during basketball season, I can watch a lot of MAC games.

I'll add to this a little.

You're correct that ESPN will list all the games that are potentially available. Some, as you mentioned, require that you get the channel to be able to see it. In my case, I don't get the ACC Network, so those games aren't viewable for me in the app/on Roku.

I had trouble getting games through the "Watch" menu on the ESPN website. It wouldn't recognize that I was a subscriber and wanted me to create an account. A very nice ESPN CSR told me to go through the "ESPN+" menu. Works every time now.

Once in there, finding games can be a bit tricky. Sometimes the games don't show up on the front page or even on the "Schedules and Replays" menu. If that happens, specify the sport you want to watch. It usually works.
