It comes down to money. You can make $20,000 or so playing in the G League or if you're as good as Ndour, you can go to Europe and make $1 million or more with all kinds of benefits including all of your living expenses paid for. And if you're good enough there, you'll get another shot at the NBA. It just has to come in between seasons.

The league introduced two-way contracts this season, which at least offers a bit more stability pay-wise and some upside. Pretty sure players on 2 way deals are guaranteed a base of 75k (still a long ways off of the G League, but not as far off from lower-tier European leagues as you might think) and can spend up to 45 days with the affiliated NBA team. Any NBA service time is paid at the same rate as the rookie minimum, which is 816k. If a two-way guy maxed out his 45 days in the NBA, I think his yearly salary would be in the 300k range. Which of course isn't what Real Madrid pays, but it's also nothing to scoff at.

Tony doing damn well for the Magic. Averaging 9.4 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.7 apg shooting 52% FG, 40% 3PT, and 76% FTs.

Also, I found this highlight tape for Tony which I've never seen before. God damnit I miss watching this guy play in an Ohio uniform.

He was so smooth. Some of the best hands of a player we've had. So much more athletic than he looked. Great teammate. Never really saw him get bent out of shape but he could get a nasty streak in terms of taking over in the post. Man is that injury such a crushing blow that really took away an NCAA spot last year.

Lt. Frank Drebin: Hector Savage. From Detroit. Ex-boxer. His real name was Joey Chicago.
Ed Hocken: Oh, yeah. He fought under the name of Kid Minneapolis.
Nordberg: I saw Kid Minneapolis fight once. In Cincinnati.
Lt. Frank Drebin: No you're thinking of Kid New York. He fought out of Philly.
Ed Hocken: He was killed in the ring in Houston. By Tex Colorado. You know, the Arizona Assassin.
Nordberg: Yeah, from Dakota. I don't remember it was North or South.
Lt. Frank Drebin: North. South Dakota was his brother. From West Virginia.

Tone is putting in work. https://www.alaskaaces.com.ph/news/eLuvZEXtNF

Nobody despises to lose more than I do. That's got me into trouble over the years, but it also made a man of mediocre ability into a pretty good coach. Woody Hayes

Great video. The basket had a suction hose on it for Big Tone. He shoot like that every night and he just might get to the NBA.
