In other words, the bigger game draws more people in during the week, while the weekend draws the big crowd regardless of opponent. I wonder if there's data inside The Convo or MAC offices to support that? The flip side might be that getting the marquee opponent on a Saturday would draw a bigger crowd, and if the game experience is outstanding, motivate more people to come to more games. Again, I wonder what kind of data the MAC and Ohio have on this? This would make sense if most of the MAC programs were located in cities. Rural towns won't draw well on a weeknight regardless of the opponent.
