Not sure where to look for the podcast but it may be worth a listen when it gets posted. Gives them a tighter cluster of states and keeps travel times down. Kind of crazy to think that Evansville will be one of the further away teams as Chicago, Terre Haute, Peoria and Bloomington are 3 hours or less. Don't realize how long Indiana is but the travel time from Evansville to Valpo is only about 30 minutes less than it is from Des Moines! The point is well taken that many conferences are getting larger while this one is becoming more compact. I've taken HWY 41 once, and I must say, what an enjoyable drive through parts of Americana. This is a neat (really coffee table) book about a bicyclist who rode from coast to coast on the Lincoln Highway. Enjoyed his pages about some stops in Ohio, incluing Massillon. That is cool...not much of a Ford guy but rebuilding it and getting it road worthy would be cool ...my favorite road books Blue Highways is tops but Travels With Charlie comes to mind as I look at your truck. Jack Kerouac's toilet paper manuscript and a few others I have read ....though Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maint. has been a tome to slog through for me. I like the truck. Bed in the back and rubbermaid totes would do me fine. I like the Lincoln Highway book mentioned as I have been on a bunch of it ....going out to Robert Morris, NIUm a bunvh of it around Iowa and Ames and even a trek through Carson City after a wrong turn with my 3rd son navigatin out of Tahoe. One of my favorite sections is on 50 going to Tahoe from my bros house in Sacto AMerica is awesome. So much to see and do when you get off the interstate.
