Yeah, feel for the kid, but the end when he goes to a teammate to get a "high five" just keeps me in stitches!!!!

For anyone who remembers TOS's introductory press conference at Bryant, wear an ill fitting hat.

The picture is on Bryant's basketball page.

What else are you going to do? It's a freshman, kid who played hard, hit a shot that could have been the game winner. He just had a brain-fart in a learning experience, no coach would not stand by their player here. Still funny as hell though!

Oh, this is a tangent on a tangent on a tangent about to happen:

There's something poetic about this sentence. Like it describes the modern age in some way I can't put my finger on.

Also...

I tried to play an Atari 7800 on a 70-inch screen. Each pixel is like three inches wide. I almost had a seizure playing Pitfall. Between the oversized graphics and the Tarzan-like sounds blasting through stereo speakers as I swung over the black tarpits or the blips as I jumped from crocodile head to crocodile head, it was an overwhelming amount of Atari.

The entire entertainment system was digitally screaming, "I WASN'T MADE FOR THIS! SENSORY OVERLOAD! I NEED TO BE PLAYED ON A FUZZY ZENITH CONSOLE WITH BURLED WOOD SURROUNDING ME!I WASN'T MADE FOR THESE TIMES!"

You may now resume your regularly scheduled conversation.

Thanks for this thread. I still want my talking TOS bobblehead that says things like:
"Life on the road in the MAC"
"Ohio. Ohio, and Ohio."
"Marin Bota has NBA skills!"
"FLARES!!! FLARES!!!"

I would like to wish everyone a happy TOS Day, as we should all use this day to look for other jobs so that we can too be like our idol.

All Hail the TOS to Threads

TOS just got in the record books for blowing the second largest half time lead in history-25 points against Navy last night. Congrats for a job well done.
