Russ asked the hard question pre game and Saul did a nice job 'splainin. Was not being malicious or snide. Since I have talked to Saul and tend not to have a filter myself I understood totally where he was coming from.

Not speaking for him but my take was ....when those guys are all graduated and out in the world our kids will still be playing. Did not see any other intention but in this PC world it is maddening at how thin skinned folks are....

Other thoughts. I did not think fatigue was a factor. Simmons just stopped running the show. Offense bogged. How many of his turns came in the 2nd half after the press came? How many points did he have in the lane or on the edge after we slowed it down? Big contrast from the 1st half I bet without even going back to the play by play. Hopefully they looked at tape, pointed out the problem and move on....I am up on this team after a couple of years of feeling that so much inertia that had been built since 07 was slowing. Back on the uptick and feeling like the MAC is a conference we should dominate like the Zags, Butler in the horizon and a few others.

Amazing how many good looks, around the basket and beyond the arc, Ohio is getting this year due to Simmons. Unofficially, 10 assists v. Norfolk St. at the half. Not unlike a little lefty from a few years ago.
