I think Coach Dambrot is highly regarded in NCAA BB circles. I have seen him at MAC Conference events also. He seems to be highly respected by our commissioner, and fellow AD's and coaches. Having him involved and Jim Schaus on the NCAA selection committee should be good for the prestige of MAC Basketball.

From the article, this speaks for itself:

Dambrot has reached the NCAA Tournament three times (2009, 2011, 2013) and owns a 252-121 record with the Zips.

It can't be all about their records, can it?

Good exposure for Ohio Tech, Ohio and the state of Ohio. Don't know how Ohio State feels about it, but Ohio should be proud of Ohio Tech and the state of basketball in the state of Ohio. Ohio.

I suspect he'll propose the "three strikes and you're out rule" to be replace the zero tolerance policy on all things thuggery.
