saw that on a couple of sites. Lived a full life and accomplished a ton.

He actually turned down a chance to play in the NBA because the industrial league paid more money. It shows you how far things have come. He averaged 48 points a game without the 3 point shot or shot clock.

Pretty sure the 3pt line would not have helped Bevo.

Dale Bandy, who had seen Bevo play many times, told me his game was similar to Larry Bird.

My dad used to tell me about Bevo Francis everytime we passed by Bob Evans' farm on US 35 on our way to W.Va. I really enjoyed the ESPN Sports Century story of his career. As you can see, just from the preview, that the 3 point line might have helped him even more. I just love his story. Enjoy!
