what a great day. Directv is heavenly. Fox indiana has the local tourney on. STO has OHSAA on. Fox Detroit has Michigan. CBS/TBS has Elite 8 tonite.

Tri village over by where I grew up vs Harvest Prep in Canal Winchester on the heels of the small school 1a championship in IN . Good games, good day for a hoop addict.

never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Winter comes and asks how you spent your summer.....

The game loves and rewards those who love and reward the game

watching Park Tudor on Fox Indiana. Looking at number 3 on Park Tudor as he is heading to Western Michigan. Coach Kyle Cox , son of Long time Ball State head AT is the coach. Played hoops and golfed at BSU.

D2 NCAA has a kid from Pickerington playing. I had to have seen him play but can't place him.

Have you seen now state champion Caleb Swanigan much? I'd be curious to hear your take on him. I know he's worked hard at getting into better shape.

HA

I was waiting for that. I was unimpressed the times I have seen him. Plays lazy and w bad habits. He is frequently with much smaller players in the conference they play in but he is very rarely asserting himself so it is just not the way he is used so I am hoping in college he gets with a coach who will light his fire and guide his development.

He has a great frame and good hops. Nice nose for the ball and good basic footwork but he needs a mentor.

I get the distinct impression his handler is a bear. Several friends have remarked that he looks up into the stands and listens, looks at and responds to the handler infinitely more than the coach on the bench. First order of the day for the staff will be to deal with that if those reports are correct. Offers at many places still open for him but depends on who you read as to whom is the current leader.

You know me! Well, apparently he and Rosie Barnes figured something out, because Caleb just said he'd be announcing his college choice next week.

I know that my man Izzo has dealt with parents who are real piece of work, some well-meaning and others meddlingly disruptive. An experienced sports agent is a different thing. I don't really know much about the relationship between Swanigan and his guardian. I'm working on giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Hope you get a good look in the Mickey D's game tonite. He usually gets up for those big ones
