It really feels like something about the convos/ozones atmosphere has changed over the past 5 years. The only changes that have been made is the black seats and the band moving. I get why the black seats are there the band not so much. It has become very hard to find seats in the Ozone and I feel like the average college student is no longer attracted to standing in it where 5 years ago that used to not be the case. Every time I bring friends to the ozone for the first time they love it and want to come back. The problem is there is no space and most average college student won't want to leave as early as you need to get a seat. Move the band and this problem is solved. There is enough room for the volleyball band but that's a small group compared to what the 110 brings. I personally like the band where it is and I think of them as part of the ozone not separate from it. Many of their members seem fully engaged in the game. Other than the Ozone, at times, i see very few rabbid/loud fans at our football or basketball games. On a more serious note, can't we just lower the Convo roof to make the place smaller?
