Re: Trent and coaching experience ... some of the articles written around the time of his jersey ceremony mentioned that he coaches his son's AAU team (not sure if you all consider that "real" coaching experience or not) and he also said that he is interested in coaching at the collegiate level. Actual in-game coaching experience aside, he's been working as a counselor for at-risk youths for some time now, and after he spoke to OUr team, they made comments about how inspiring he was and really motivated them. Groce talked about how impressed he was with Trent's growth as a person. Sounds like a great guy to have in the locker room with the team and working out with them, a resource for them to go to when they're feeling troubled or want to talk about life after college basketball. He just seems like he could be a real asset. And he loves Ohio and Athens ... so many people want to leave and here's one who wants to come back.
