Exactly the first thing I thought as well.

Has to be something's up, although he must be academically qualified if he's planning on enrolling in January.

This is a huge addition, in more ways than one. He is Ohio's second highest rated recruit ever, behind Jon Lechner. Tyler Foster, also this year, now drops to 4th highest ever, behind Deontai Williams, who never actually made it to Ohio. That means that if Daxon and Foster both arrive in Athens, they will be the 2d and 3rd highest rated recruits ever.

As for Daxon, he's big, he's strong, and he's quick. I think he's going to be a force.

Whatever the reason lets count our blessings that he literally fell into our lap some how and he is eligible this spring..hopefully his commitment sticks because I'm sure the Big School poachers are circling this kid now.

I guarantee this is all about playing time. He can start with Baker now. Then you have big McCracken joining the trenches and we have several defense lineman that are over 300 lbs. We will definitely stop the run next year.

The DL is a perfect example of decent depth...with just Suh and Baker and McCraken you can add Caesar and ARP and a few more and you have a 3 deep rotation. OUr linebackers should be better for it and OUr DBs have lots of experience. On paper we look scary.

Thinking Mr. Daxon has not felt in control of this process. After Louisville pulled the rug from under him, now late in the process, he ran into Tremayne Scott from Ohio. He discusses Ohio with some close to him with stability a requirement. Who can offer more than Ohio? So Tremayne + Ohio stability = Mr. Daxon In Green.
