Seven MAC teams are bowl eligible

CMU plastered UMass today to become the 7th MAC team to be bowl eligible this season. And there's a good chance that all seven will go to bowls. There are 64 teams that are bowl eligible and only 12 teams left to fill six spots. That means seven of the last 12 would have to win in order for any MAC team to possibly be pushed out. Given that 8 of the 12 play teams with better records than theirs, it's doubtful that more than six will get in.
