What happens to the BCS money earned by Kent or N. Illinois if the stars align and they actually get a BCS game?

I would hope the MAC would cover the teams cost, so they don't lose money, but what about the rest? Does the conference split it evenly?

P.S. It burns me that Ohio isn't in the same position as Kent right now, but I could root for Kent, if I thought it might benefit Ohio ($$$).

I believe it gets split between all other non-AQ schools, but it's not an even split.  I would guess the team's conference would get a bigger slice, but I really don't know.

It's complicated, but here's something from 2009.  Not sure if this has changed.
