Is the MAC still splitting all bowl revenue evenly throughout the conference? It's looking like a pretty strong possibility the winner of Kent St & NIU is going to get into the top 16 in the BCS and get an at-large to the BCS. $17 million dollar payout per BCS bowl. I remember hearing horror stories about UCONN losing a ton of money on their BCS bowl relating to not filling their ticket allotment and sending everyone and their brother to the bowl game. With at least NIU, Kent, Ball State, OHIO, BGSU, and Toledo bowling this year with an outside chance of CMU getting a bowl, it seems the MAC (and hopefully Ohio) stands a chance to add some money to the coffers. Does anyone know if UMASS gets a cut this year?
Symonds told me "I haven't heard anything regarding that matchup". This regarding a report Ohio-Ole Miss in BBVA Compass is close.
Once more, I have it from a good source it is a strong possibility Ohio-Ole Miss in the BBVA Compass Bowl & may be close to a done deal.
One of the interesting propositions for Ohio is the long layoff and possible return of some previously injured players. Still waiting conf.

Very vague comment from Schaus regarding Ohio-Ole Miss report. No confirmation, but not denying report.
