Good too see Lavon getting mentioned in Colt's camp notes. Hopefully he can have more of an impact than Taylor Price had with the Patriots.

"PRACTICE HIGHLIGHTS

The offense had a very successful first day at practice as quarterback Andrew Luck spread the wealth among many of his receivers on the afternoon.  Wide receiver Austin Collie was a recipient of many of Luck’s passes and rookie wideout LaVon Brazill had a couple of impressive catches.  Defensively, cornerback Korey Lindsey and safety Tom Zbikowski each had an interception."

One advantage LaVon has over Taylor is that the coaching staff and Luck are also in their first year with the Colts.  Taylor had an uphill battle since Tom Brady probably had a higher comfort level with receivers he had played with for years and who knew the New England system better because of their experience.

Good Luck to both LaVon and Taylor this year with their fresh starts!

From the Indianapolis Star (scroll over to see the caption):

LaVon is my favorite Bobcat player of the last few years.  Not only is he great player, he's a wonderful man.  I wish him very well in all his future endeavors, as does, I'm sure, Mr. HHH.

The Few, The Proud, The Bobcats!

And for the record, I hate tOSU, and Ricordati and Torgerson are DB's.

I read on twitter that Lavon took a screen pass to the house either today or yesterday. Whoever wrote the article seemed very impressed by him. But for the life of me i cannot find the tweet.

Did anyone read the article posted a few links back?
"Like heralded quarterback Andrew Luck, Brazill was forced to sit out all spring while waiting for his class at OU to graduate. He made the most of his downtime, hooking up with Luck as often as possible to work on timing and chemistry.

“We’ve been working hard in the offseason,” Brazill said. “I actually went out there to Cali, to Stanford with him, and worked out with him to get our timing up. We also did a little work at Butler University so I think our chemistry is close. But I want to build that chemistry a little closer.'”

LaVon and the #1 draft pick we're having their own private training camp since both schools are [were] on quarters? That is awesome!

Indy Star reporter @KyleNeddenriep put this out:  "Reggie Wayne said Lavon Brazill might be fastest receiver in camp.  Rookie from Ohio just took a screen pass and went the distance."
