Not sure who Carl Banks is. Didn't he play for the NY Giants?

As I read this article this morning it got me wondering if the IPF (or MPF) will benefit us in reducing injury.  I run - a lot - and I know that weather, surface conditions and the like play a huge role in how muscles and joints react and recover.  With practices now being outdoors and often on the hard patch of dirt behind Peden, that combination has to be brutal on legs.
Does anyone know of studies or ad hoc riffs on injury rates indoors on turf vs. outdoors on dirt?  With the proliferation of turf and indoor facilities, the question must have come up.

I feel like this came up on one of the IPF threads when it was first announced, or during the fundraising campaign

So we know that L-Monroe is led by the qb and a star receiver.  Will we do anything to key on those two?

No studies here, a personal note.  When I was a junior in high school, we practiced on a grass field behind our stadium.  By halfway through the season, there were huge patches of dirt on the field and you could see dirt flying in the air when we were running.  We had a lot of kids get injured.

I would think that the IPF would cut down on a lot of injuries.  Would also help if we practiced on the same playing surface we played on.

They get 146 yards per game on the ground.  We MUST get pressure on their qb and make their passing game suffer.

Didn't he play Donna Reed's husband on "The Donna Reed Show"?

Football practices in Peden on the Field Turf for every practice, except maybe a light monday.  IPF will have same surface in it as Peden.

Not to mention the grass fields behind Peden are neither dirt patches nor are they hard.  Every day when I'm running after work I see those things being watered by the irrigation system, so they cannot be hard.

Occasionally the 110 practices back there before midweek night games.  It's a pretty nice grass field.
