It's a respectable bowl game that OHIO athletes are proud to be in, It's also the second bowl game in which we could possibly win. Winning bowl games on ESPN is a tremendous recruiting tool, and it propels our program for recruits on the national stage. Why so negative? Some our fans seem to root against us. This pisses me off big time. We can win this one. Why, if you are a true fan do you keep shi@@ing on us? Who do you think you are? Root for another team or something. Don't come on here. We are bobcats, and support our bobcats, thick or thin. You seem to be a bobcat only when we are doing well.

It's a better name than when Poulan Weedeater sponsored the game and it became known as the "Weedwhacker Bowl."

Sorry Ohiostunter if I misinterpreted your poll post. I'm just so tired of reading post on here saying we shouldn't accept a bowl game, Solich is a bad coach, Tyler is a bad quarterback etc. etc. So I thought you were attacking the bobcats or making fun. I think this is a good match-up for OHIO, and I think we can turn our fortunes around by winning this last game. I also think "The famous Idaho Potato Bowl" is the most ridiculous name for a bowl game ever - but was proud to be in it, and proud we won our first bowl game in history. I too was there for all the terrible seasons in the 80's and 90's and was in the stands in the rain and snow. Back then, a bowl bid was unheard of. I still loved going to the games, watching the 110 and supporting our team.

I think this poll was fun and this thread was fun. I had no idea what AdvoCare V100 was. However, just now I did an exhaustive ten-second search and discovered the truth. At least it's better than going to the Viagra Go Daddy Bowl.

Advocare is a pyramid sales outfit that sells vitamins and supplements through a pyramid network. They have some highly paid celebrity endorsers. I have never seen any of their products. They are like amway and shaklee, etc. I have known their CEO for most of my life and we were friends through high school and college. He hasn't spoken to me since I refused to join his Amway network back in the '70's. Advocare has hung around longer than most of the previous bowl sponsors.
