Would it not make sense to bring in a set of temporary bleacher for those early season games when the crowd often surges beyond 24,000? Also the school should offer 8 dollar walk up tickets to the first 1,000 customers in November games to help fill the stands. The program needs every fan it can get down to the stadium. They set up temp bleachers behind the north endzone. The field level perspective was fun for a change.  My son, then about 12, caught a field goal.  He had to give the ball back though.  We were close to the ROTC cannon crew.  I would do it again in a heartbeat. The way I was envisioning it is that Ohio could put some nice looking hunter green bleachers in to try to frame in the wings and Victory Hill better bringing fans closer to the field. This doesn't have to look cheaply done at all. I just think it would be cool to have fans hanging litterally right off the field for an intense atmosophere. The growth of Ohio football is more on the lower end with more students attending it doesn't make sense to drop 20 million dollars on a stadium expansion when for 1 million customized bleachers could be put in to raise capacity to 27,000 to maximize attendance. Note that about 500-1,000 fans were turned away from the New Mexico State game. Steel bleachers could fit in architecturally with a stadium built in 1929 that has an old time feel.
