The NCAA rules committee has proposed requiring teams to have either their pants or jerseys contrast with the color of their field's turf.  It's aimed at Boise, but apparently could also affect any team's colors, including green.  How do we lobby against this?

I've never been a fan of wearing the same color of jersey as pants. At that point, if you're only going to wear one color, why not save money and just get one-piece leotards with a place for pads in it? The white pants look best with the green jerseys and the green pants look best with the white jerseys.

But, for OU, black only looks good over black.  That rules out black turf but I am fine with the ban on all green unis.  Wonder how they'll take this Turdistan?  Isn't that all green look sort of their signature uniform?

Not for us. We will still be in it. We won't be invited when the Big Ten and SEC break away for minor league pro sports.
