Mike Mitchell is 8th on the Raiders in total tackles 43 and 6th in solo tackles 34. And he's 1st in intercerceptions. Of course it's an 8 way tie for first with one. http://www.raiders.com/team/statistics.html

I was already semi following the Patriots, because of Price -- looks like I have a favorite NFL team for the first time.

With the Patriots having nothing to play for today, Wes Welker and Deion Branch are listed on the Patriots inactives for today's game with the Dolphins.

Perhaps we'll see some Price!

Push came to shove tonight and our Cats were left on the sideline. Not sure that is doom for Taylor, but Landon needs to rally in the off-season.

"It takes time for a receiver, especially in this offense. I think it's always hard, especially in our system, for young drafted receivers to come in and really do something. They really have to do their homework and it's hard for young guys to understand that. They've been great and hopefully we just keep working these guys along and bring them along, and hopefully be a threat for us next year," Welker said.

I was thinking that when I heard about the deal yesterday... hopefully Price will get a bit of time pre-season and impress either the Patriots or another team.
