Not sure what to make of this.  He had two TDs and seven picks in game action last year, and had a 178 QB rating in scrimmages against a D that was 97th against the pass last year.  Not impressive.  On the other hand, it could just be the coaching; Colo's starting left guard also transferred yesterday, to Neb.

It is that time. Okla State just released the QB that was their #1 at the beginning of the season.

Colorado was easily the worst AQ conference team last year, and probably among the 5 worst FBS teams period. So he's going from competing to be the starter on one of the worst teams in America to......competing to be the starter on one of the worst teams in America.

Maybe he preferred the malls in Akron to the malls in Boulder.

He wanted to be close enough to Athens in October that he can fake an injury and make it to Halloween

Talk about a change of surroundings. From the Rockies to whatever it is that Akron would offer.

And it just keeps getting better for Colo.  One of their "rising" senior QBs, who missed spring practice with a torn ACL, has been charged with assault.

And we think we have it bad when a QB could potentially decommit close to LOI.

You know what Frank Solich likes most about coaching in the MAC? While he gets older, his coaching competition stays the same age, man.
