True frosh, redshirt, transfer, whatever.

Who makes significant impact?

Tarrell Basham.  I just like the name for a D lineman.

Among the redshirts, Sebastian Smith is a no-brainer for an impact player. He'd have played a huge role last year, if he hadn't been hurt. I'm also looking for William Johnson and Kurt Laseak to have huge years.

Among true freshmen, I am guessing at least one true freshman WR makes an impact. Will it be Justin Wyatt? Cedric Brown? Brendon Cope? I don't know, but I'll go with Cedric Brown as my pick.  I think we'll see Dyquan Stewart at nickle, and he'll be an impact player, too.

As for Jucos, you have the two big defensive linemen, and both will be impact players. I expect both Cameron McLeod and Watson Tautaiuki to play significant roles, Tautuiaki at NG, McLeaod at DT.

Glad to see your thoughts, L.C.  Elsewhere you planted doubts in me about the d-line and 'backers.  Maybe I took that too much to heart...here I feel better.

LB was a strength last year. Just because it will be weaker this year doesn't mean it will be bad. There is talent there, just not as much experience.

Frank seemed really high on Basham at the Caravan. Redshirt freshman wise Smith and Laseak have to be considered stong candidates to step up and play a ton.
