Highest use of adjunct faculty. $61 million football stadium that will be a long-term drain on budgets.  Projected 6 to 7-percent decline in enrollment this fall.  Yet somehow Zips fans believe they're going to get a gleaming new basketball arena. Does Tressel belong as a university president with his moral compass? The answer is certainly no but it all comes down to the ability to fundraise and this guy potentially has it. For you McDavis detractors that is what he was brought on board to do; provide charismatic leadership and bring in the money. That is what he's accomplished and under his watched the school has raised more money than it has under its entire history prior to him becoming president. The world has witnessed stranger events than a guy like Tressel running a mid level state university.
